    Details of Worker/Volunteer Activities:

    Set-up (Beginning September 1st, work hours you are available to mow lawns, paint fences, move items, cut fabric, etc.)

    Corn Maze  (Distribute punch cards at entrance.  When guests come out, ask them to fill out their name and address for a drawing.)

    Tractor driver for hayrides  (must be 21, have valid drivers license and have experience)

    Wagon Monitor  (Assist guests in getting on and off hay wagon to pumpkin patch.  Open and close wagon ramp.)

    Porta-potty Patrol  (Check for toilet paper.  Clean up any messes.  Push waste down and add water if needed.  Check levels of soap, toweling and hand sanitizer; refill when needed.)

    Wood Stamp  (Ask children to choose a piece of wood.  You pound their initials in with metal mallet.  Let child do a few pounds with rubber mallet.)

    Red Shed  (Supervise older children/teens as they make and sell popcorn, cut apples and prepare caramel apples and cotton candy.  Cut pumpkin pie.  Help with money.)

    Bomb a Buck   (Help kids load apples/potatoes into sling shot to shoot out window.)

    Laundry   (Help children wash towels using washboard and direct them to hang towels on the line.)

    Petting Zoo (scooping poop, checking water, helping at bunny table, talking with guests)

    Corn Sheller (Ask children to choose a corn cob and help them run it through the sheller.)

    Corn Cob Dolls (Help children wrap fabric and tie a piece of yarn around a corn cob to make their own doll.)

    Apple Cider  (Explain process of cider making.  Help children chop and press apples.  Serve cider to guests.  Clean apple press.)

    Ice Cream  (Keep track of ice cream timing.  Take finished ice cream out of ice-cream-maker.  Put it in the freezer.  Scoop and serve to guests.)

    Schoolhouse/Dress-up  (Supervise areas to be sure children are using materials appropriately.  Tidy up dress-up area.  Interact with guests explaining how schools have changed.)

    Garbage  (Collect and tie up garbage bags.  Carry them to the dumpster.)

    Parking Attendant  (Direct traffic so vehicles are parked in an orderly fashion.  Later in the day, direct vehicles to fill the empty spaces that are now open because families have left.)

    Admission Area  (Take money, give brochure and tickets, count number of guests)

    Staff Lounge  (Be sure there are drinks and food kept warm/cold.  Fold brochures.  Cut apples that will be used in Red Shed.)

    Tear Down  (Put equipment into storage, clean and put away items, etc.  This begins on October 14th.)
